Our School

RIFS is located on Via di Monte Testaccio 34A, in the heart of Testaccio, one of the truly authentic neighborhoods of Rome. Tucked into the side of an artificial hill made by ancient Romans out of remnants of pottery shards, a stone’s throw from the Roman pyramid, it is an area full of life, art and culture. Across the street from the Macro Museum and a famed music academy (both inside the former Mattatoio), the area is full of cafés, a famous market, coffee bars, restaurants, old time Roman trattorias, art studios, artisans, and street life. Testaccio is one of the hippest, most interesting parts of Rome, known more to locals than to tourists, a hub of activity and creativity.
